This is a nice feature to have if your ever out camping or hiking.It has a small compass, a small pen like light, Thermometer, Magnifier, a reflective disc, and the whistle.
The whistle in my opinion, if you were ever in need of help, I would hope help was fairly close to hear, because it's not that loud, I would expect an emergency whistle to be a lot louder., other than that I think it is a very nice add to your hiking gear.
